DOWNSTAIRS
The entrance hall leads you through to the comfortable lounge with large corner sofa and feature fireplace. The adjoining conservatory/sun room boasts a piano that can be played to ones hearts content; you will also find a useful workspace here for those who need to keep on top of work during their stay. Patio doors open out onto a south-facing patio and large enclosed garden.
Mulberry House has a wonderful formal dining room, the perfect place for entertaining, with a quaint door that leads to the kitchen, ideal for serving up a feast after a long day exploring out in the Bay. Dip into a good novel from the extensive range of books on offer or simply relax and enjoy listening to some classic tunes on the record player.
The stylish bespoke, hand-crafted kitchen is home to everything you need to cater for large family meals. Here you will find an integrated double oven, induction hob, large freestanding fridge/freezer, dishwasher and a useful air fryer! The utility room houses a washing machine and tumble dryer.
UPSTAIRS
The bright and spacious first floor offers two kingsized bedrooms, one with an ensuite shower room, and a further twin / king bedroom with sea views from the front window. There is a large family bathroom with free standing bathtub and large walk-in shower.
OUTSIDE
Mulberry House offers a large driveway with parking for at least 3 cars, which is a real bonus in Brixham.
There is a large enclosed rear garden, with a newly laid patio and lawn with fruit trees, plus table and chairs for dining outside in the summer sunshine…and why not help yourself to the seasonal fruit and veg you may find in the garden during your visit!
Brixham is a picturesque fishing town located on the south east coast of Devon. A colourful, vibrant harbour is the heart of Brixham life. Lined with small shops, cafés and bars, it offers a fantastic array of fine places to eat, relax and soak up the atmosphere.
Several beaches and coves line the coast and Brixham has its very own open-air, seawater lido.
Mulberry House is perfectly located in a peaceful area, a stone’s throw from popular Fishcombe Cove with its beach cafe, and just a 15-minute walk to bustling Brixham Harbour. The South West Coast Path is just 0.2 mile from the house, it’s the UK’s longest and best-loved nature trail which offers spectacular scenery and stunning coastal views along its way.
Historic Dartmouth is within easy reach of Brixham and worth a visit. It is just a short drive south, then a ferry crossing will take you to this beautiful naval town, situated on the banks of the River Dart.
Half an hour’s drive inland is the magnificent Dartmoor National Park. It is a paradise for nature lovers and those who enjoy walking and exploring.
