The cottage met our needs and was clean and located close to amenities. Parking was a little difficult outside the cottage but safe places were found each day only a short walk away.
All in all, a pleasurable experience and would use again.

Lovely stay at a beautiful cottage. Hosts really helpful and accommodating. Easy check in and thoughtful provisions left on arrival.

We were so gutted to leave.
This place is such a gem! So peaceful and calm - exactly what we were looking for and needed.
Everything about the cottage is just beautiful, our jaws hit the floor when we arrived.
Friends and family are desperate to know where we stayed after seeing photos.
We had a tiny hiccup with the heating However the owners and Katie were unbelievably friendly and so helpful!!

Honestly if you’re hesitating on booking, this home will not disappoint.
Thank you so much for letting us stay and helping us when needed.

My parents and I had to travel to the UK from Australia for a week to attend my Nans funeral. Although a sad trip, our stay in The Old Linhay made it less so. The log fire was wonderful in the cold winter evenings and the house is everything you would expect from a traditional thatched cottage. The surrounding farm and view of the Devonshire countryside gave us the peace and quiet we needed for our trip.
Despite the circumstances, we very much enjoyed our stay.

Beautifully decorated cottage with cute courtyard which is dog safe. Lovely goodies on arrival.... Parking was the only difficulty, although occasionally we managed to park directly out the front. ..Walking distance to beaches and all amenities was fab. Katie was very communicative and helpful.
Hope to return.

We booked because the cottage looked so cozy, when we got there it was like a home from home and much bigger than the photos. It was warm and homely with the most beautiful views. The host was friendly and helpful, and made sure we were stocked up with wood for the fire.

You have Totnes and Dartmouth near by, with a few National Trust options. Great location for a quiet get away. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Lovely stay in a great little cottage. Comfortable beds, well equipped kitchen, clean.
Good communication and a later check out which was helpful.

The only downside was the lounge/downstairs did smell of dogs which if you don't have a dog isn't ideal.

Parking can be a bit of a challenge, I imagine in the summer it's probably worse.

Thanks for a great week.

The place was clean, tidy, cosy and lovely decor and everything we could think we needed. We did not need to drive anywhere as it was well situated for the beaches, promenade and harbour with great restaurants. Would highly recommend and many thanks to Katie for hosting us.

Lovely cottage, with a few issues, which were quickly dealt with or responded to by both the owner and host. Lacking a few things in the kitchen, like trays to use in the oven but could work around. Beautiful building and situation and easily accessible, although follow the instructions kindly provided by the host if you don’t like narrow lanes. Would recommend this for a stay in south Devon, with loads to do in and around the surrounding area.
