We had five fantastic nights and superb days walking in the great countryside and on the beaches. Back for a relaxing hot tub before a drink in the local inn.

Everything was just perfect for our wind down start to the year.

We met Deb who appears to be the host..very communicative, helpful and thoughtful. We loved the cream tea and fizz which was left as a welcome for us.

We will definitely visit again and highly recommend.

Extreamly clean with well thought out touches.
Lovely bottle of fizzy plonk & scfones on arrival (unsure if this was normal or a festive touch but great)

The host was absolutely lovely and made us feel so welcome. We were greeted with scones, jam and cream upon entry which was so lovely. She was super understanding and even sent my sister a birthday card on her birthday and a balloon. The cottage was in pristine condition and exactly as described. The hot tub was an highlight and was frequently cleaned whilst we stayed there. Our stay could not have been better and it was due a lot to how amazing the host was. Will definitely be visiting again - hopefully for longer next time!!

This was our second visit to Manuka and just as good as the first. It’s in a peaceful village location with a choice of 4 places to eat. Close to Totnes, Brixham, Paignton and Dartmouth, plenty to do our see.
Manuka is very well equipped and comfortable. My favourite thing has to be the jacuzzi, so relaxing after a day out walking with our dog, Elsie. Thanks again and will be back for another visit next year

Manuka cottage was perfect. Nestled in a small set of houses with no streetlights gave you the perfect night sky on a clear night. The cottage was perfect, exactly as described. The hot tub was gorgeous to get into in the evening times too.

Set in a perfect location Stoke Gabriel was the perfect base for our family trips out to:

- Brixham and Berry Head
- Paignton Zoo
- Dartmouth (steam train from Paignton to Kingswear/Dartmouth where we took a river cruise)
- Torquay
- Paignton (this was post storm Ciaran so we went the cinema and spent the day on the Pier)
- Plymouth

The owner was amazing, checked in on us upon arrival and gave us suggestions of trips and places to visit with the kids. Also checked in on us post storm. Very approachable, responsive and friendly.

Honestly we had the best time!

Thank you

Manuka Cottage was perfect for us to unwind. We were a party of two couples and there was still accommodation for two further people in two single beds. The hot tub was lovely and was not overlooked by any of the neighbors so very private. The cottage was a short walk from the shore of an inlet leaing to the River Dart which was well worth a visit. A;sp, the village was very central allowing access to the nearby towns sucg as Brixham and Dartmouth, all of these were less than 30 minutes drive away, great. Many thanks again for providing this ideal base to visit the area.May we say a special thankyou to Deb for helping with any questions we had. kindest regards, Debbie and Roger + Lorraine and Mike

A group of five of us had a truly fantastic stay here. The property was beautifully maintained and the host was incredibly friendly and attentive. There was plenty to do in the surrounding area and we had no trouble getting to locations. We particularly enjoyed the hot tub, and the kayaking in the local town. and once again can't stress how wonderfully friendly and kind the host was. I truly recommend.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Manuka house and would definitely recommend it. It was spotlessly clean, well equipped and we felt very at home there. The garden area and hot tub were fab. Stoke Gabriel is a beautiful area and we enjoyed a delicious Sunday roast at the Castle Inn Pub.
