Stayed here for over a week with my dog. It was lovely and relaxing. The welcome basket full of goodies was a delightful surprise. The Nook has everything you need and it is an easy drive to Dartmoor which we enjoyed going for long walks. Communication was easy from beginning to end and Katie communicated very quickly and made sure we were comfortable. I would stay here again!

We had five fantastic nights and superb days walking in the great countryside and on the beaches. Back for a relaxing hot tub before a drink in the local inn.

Everything was just perfect for our wind down start to the year.

We met Deb who appears to be the host..very communicative, helpful and thoughtful. We loved the cream tea and fizz which was left as a welcome for us.

We will definitely visit again and highly recommend.

Buckfastleigh is a lovely welcoming Town. Lots of nearby walking. Plenty of helpful local people ready to chat. Two lovely pubs and the Pea and Ham soup in the Singing Kettle is to die for. The Nook is small but well equipped - just what I wanted for this break.

A lovely little ‘Bolt Hole’ on the edge of Dartmoor. A cosy little terraced cottage in a quiet alley. We spent most evenings staring at the flames from the wood burner. It’s in the perfect spot for exploring Dartmoor and the river Dart, or the coastal walks from Dartmouth. The locals in Buckfastleigh are kind and friendly.

The host was absolutely lovely and made us feel so welcome. We were greeted with scones, jam and cream upon entry which was so lovely. She was super understanding and even sent my sister a birthday card on her birthday and a balloon. The cottage was in pristine condition and exactly as described. The hot tub was an highlight and was frequently cleaned whilst we stayed there. Our stay could not have been better and it was due a lot to how amazing the host was. Will definitely be visiting again - hopefully for longer next time!!

Lovely stay in a great little cottage. Comfortable beds, well equipped kitchen, clean.
Good communication and a later check out which was helpful.

The only downside was the lounge/downstairs did smell of dogs which if you don't have a dog isn't ideal.

Parking can be a bit of a challenge, I imagine in the summer it's probably worse.

Thanks for a great week.

This was our second visit to Manuka and just as good as the first. It’s in a peaceful village location with a choice of 4 places to eat. Close to Totnes, Brixham, Paignton and Dartmouth, plenty to do our see.
Manuka is very well equipped and comfortable. My favourite thing has to be the jacuzzi, so relaxing after a day out walking with our dog, Elsie. Thanks again and will be back for another visit next year
