Many of our Coast holiday homes are located in a scenic region of South Devon called Torbay. It is also known as The English Riviera. It boasts a stunning, sheltered coastline overlooking the Channel. Here you can find pretty villages, bustling harbour towns, dramatic cliffs, sandy beaches and scenic countryside, as well as a host of fun activities for all ages.
Head to the most northerly part of the Torbay coastline for majestic red sandstone cliffs, the inviting sandy cove of Maidencombe beach and a pretty hamlet of thatched cottages nearby. Further down the coast are more stunning beaches, as well as the magnificent Torquay golf course alongside the colourful town of Torquay.
The pretty fishing town of Brixham is nestled on the south coast of Torbay, across the bay from Torquay. Stroll along its colourful harbour lined with cafes, shops and bars or dine out on fresh seafood at one of its charming restaurants. With its beaches and coves as well as its own open-air, seawater lido, it makes a wonderful place for a holiday by the sea!
The attractive market town of Buckfastleigh sits on the edge of Dartmoor National Park, so a cottage here gives you a rural home from home with easy access to glorious country walks and pubs.
At the southwest edge of Torbay you’ll find our holiday homes in Galmpton, nestled in a spectacular setting with views overlooking the River Dart nearby. It is a country haven for walkers and for those who prefer to be within strolling distance of a village pub and shops.
