April Cottage is a stylish and charming, Grade II listed fisherman’s cottage near the beach. Nestled in the coastal town of Paignton, this quaint holiday home is ideally located for the seafront and local beaches.

Renovated to a very high standard, April Cottage offers contemporary and comfortable accommodation whilst retaining its historic charm.

Ideal for couples or a couple with a child or friend, April Cottage has a double bedroom and single bedroom with a shared bathroom. Stable doors open out to a covered dining area in a pretty courtyard garden, perfect for meals or evening drinks together after a day of exploring.

April Cottage is well situated for exploring the best of the thriving, coastal town of Paignton.

Paignton is set in the heart of Torbay, a scenic part of South Devon known as the ‘English Riviera’. It boasts everything you need for a memorable holiday.

Paignton has long, sandy beaches with colourful beach huts, impressive promenades, a traditional seaside pier and an array of coastal amenities. From building sandcastles to paddling in the sea, playing ball games and enjoying relaxed drinks and ice creams together, there is something for everyone in Paignton.

The town centre is nearby so you will easily discover a wide choice of shops and restaurants. Visitors to Paignton are in the right place to sample some of the amazing fresh fish that is on offer at restaurants around the town, and in particular down by the pretty harbourside.

It is also a wonderful area for walkers. Glorious, long walks along the stunning coastal path lead to scenic cliffs, sandy stretches and hidden coves.

				The cottage met our needs and was clean and located close to amenities. Parking was a little difficult outside the cottage but safe places were found each day only a short walk away. 

All in all, a pleasurable experience and would use again.

				Beautifully decorated cottage with cute courtyard which is dog safe.  Lovely goodies on arrival.... Parking was the only difficulty, although occasionally we managed to park directly out the front.   ..Walking distance to beaches and all amenities was fab. Katie was very communicative and helpful.

Hope to return.

				Lovely stay in a great little cottage. Comfortable beds, well equipped kitchen, clean. 

Good communication and a later check out which was helpful. 



The only downside was the lounge/downstairs did smell of dogs which if you don't have a dog isn't ideal. 



Parking can be a bit of a challenge, I imagine in the summer it's probably worse.

				The place was clean, tidy, cosy and lovely decor and everything we could think we needed. We did not need to drive anywhere as it was well situated for the beaches, promenade and harbour with great restaurants. Would highly recommend and many thanks to Katie for hosting us.

				Parking was no issue as we were so close to the station we bought a weeks parking ticket and parked there each day. 

Place was clean and tidy and set up well. 

Living room can feel loud when people walk past the front door as the living room is right on street level,  but the bedrooms were quiet. This didn’t bother us but may be handy to know if you expect quiet day and night.

				My friend and I loved staying at April Cottage. Clean and nicely decorated. Both of us would stay there again.  Easy walk to the town and harbour, the coast path, beaches, local buses and trains for getting round the coast.

				We had a great stay at April Cottage, it’s been really nicely refurbished and is very comfortable. Parking was easy and the train station, town and sea front were within walking distance.

				I have never used Airbnb before as I was a little sceptical of the process and April Cottage was our first try.

And what a perfect first Airbnb it was! April Cottage was so lovely, it was beautifully decorated, clean, had everything you could possibly need and we slept so well. I loved it so much. If I was able to pick it up and take it back to Hampshire with me, I totally would.

Katie was a super host and made my first time using this service really reassuring and easy.

The cottage was so easy to find and in a great location. We were walking distance from the beach (which Edie the Labrador was delighted about!), and a pub next door! We were worried about the noise this had potential to make but we didn’t hear a thing. It was so peaceful.

The only letdown was the parking. We had to park streets away multiple times. Unless you’re prepared to find a spot and leave your car and walk everywhere, it’s a bit of a mission to find a space every time you get back.

				A beautiful little cottage, full of charm.  Cosy, quiet and well equipped throughout. Loved the fireplace in the living room. Dogs loved sleeping on their blankets in front of the fire. Thank you so much for allowing them to come for a little vacation. 

Two lovely bedrooms upstairs, comfy mattresses and nice duvets. A very nice week indeed. We will come back. Thank you.
